MEET DAN SMITH

For nearly a decade, Dan Smith has been helping families, business owners and people going through a divorce find clarity and confidence in their financial situations. After spending the beginning of his career working for two other firms, including a large, publicly traded broker dealer, he decided to open Twenty-Twenty Wealth and Advisor Partners with the goal of delivering his clients unbiased advice and above average individual service. Due to this focus, the firm has grown quickly.

Dan holds the Series 66 Investment Advisor Representative license and formerly held the Series 7 General Securities Representative license, while working for a broker dealer. Dan is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA)®, a designation he has carried for many years.

In addition to running Twenty-Twenty Wealth, Dan has been a long-time member of the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin, earning the award for Outstanding Dedication and Service in 2013 and the organization’s highest award, the Kathleen M. Baird Dolphin Award, in 2016. After serving several years as the Treasurer of the organization, Dan currently serves as the Incoming Chair and has accepted the nomination to become the Chair of the organization beginning in 2022. He also sits on the Board of the Collaborative Foundation of Wisconsin and has been the Treasurer and Chairman of other area nonprofits in the past.

Outside of work, Dan can usually be found in the outdoors with his two dogs, working in the garage or tackling a home improvement project and is always happy to get as much time with his college aged son Dylan, as possible.
